Free. We email you the results. No call needed.

What the site check looks at

Each line in the report is something you can confirm yourself on your own site.

  • Platform and version

What your site is built on, and whether that version still gets updates.

  • Signs of the last update

Dates on the page, the copyright year, and when key files last changed.

  • Phones

Whether the layout fits a phone screen, and whether buttons are big enough to tap.

  • Accessibility

An automated scan against common accessibility checks. It flags items to review. It is not a legal finding.

How it works

You see the new site before you pay for anything.

  1. Check

We run the site check and email you the results.

  2. Preview

We build a preview of your new site on our own address, marked as a concept and hidden from search engines.

  3. Approve

Ask for changes until it is right. You invite us as a user at your domain registrar or host. We never ask for your passwords.

  4. Launch and upkeep

We move your site over, then keep it updated and make the changes you ask for.

Questions

Do I need to give you my passwords?

No. You add us as a user at your domain registrar or host, and you can remove us at any time.

Will people see the preview?

It sits on our address, marked as a concept by Sawbill, and is hidden from search engines. Only people with the link can see it.

Does the report say my site breaks the law?

No. The accessibility line is an automated scan that flags items to review. Only a lawyer can tell you whether a site meets a legal standard.

What happens to my search ranking?

We keep your page addresses where we can, and send any old address that changes to its new page, so saved links and search results keep working.

What are the terms?

You get the service agreement with your quote, before you sign up.
